Fine Art Photography

And Collection

George started shooting in 1980 with film cameras and in the darkroom. In 1986, he studied at The Philadelphia Institute of Art.

I have worked in many styles of photography and find that expressing myself through my lens is what I enjoy the most.

George has exhibited and lectured about his photography and photographers that inspired him at The Ambler Library. He has been featured in Art in the Storefront, and The Horsham Library.

He was selected to be one of many Philadelphia artists to depict the French architecture of Philadelphia City Hall, and was part of a group show with Art in the Atrium at The Court House in Morristown, NJ.

Art is an expression; this is the way I see it!

George developed an eye for shooting food while working in the hospitality industry, and has worked with many chefs and clients, including Morton’s Steakhouse and Square 1682 (Kimpton Hotels) in Philadelphia, NaBrasa Brazilian Steakhouse in Horsham, PA, and The Union League of Philadelphia.

George lives and works in Montgomery County where he teaches photography at Montco SAAC, and has developed photography clubs for community art centers.

“Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”

George Johnson worked in the restaurant and hotel industry as he built his photography portfolio, and has always had the same respect for epicurean art as fine art and photography. He has provided photography to clients such as Morton’s Steakhouse, Square 1682 (Kimpton Hotels), NaBrasa Brazilian Steakhouse in Horsham Pa. and The Union League of Philadelphia to name a few.

I believe in being as detailed with my images as a master chef is with each plate that comes from his kitchen.

“Whateveooor it is, the way you tell yourcan make all the difference.”

The food industry has gone through a shift in how we go out to meet with family and friends. We now look online to select where we will feel comfortable, or just go online for takeout.

Let’s grow together! I will work with you to create and represent your restaurant in the most appealing and accurate manner.
